Its often linked with ANGELS & with SPIRITS
NATIONAL EMBLEM of WALES ~ The HARP is found
In many WELSH HOUSES & CHURCHES that we visit !
The PEDAL HARP has 50 strings ~ like you SEE
On a PIANO ~ it also has SEVEN PEDALS
Providing all the BLACK NOTES so you can play in any KEY
BLODWYN ~ A Friend ~ has won several EISTEDDFOD MEDALS !
The FOLK HARP ~ simpler ~ just one KEY
Dates back to Ancient Egypt ~ THREE-THOUSAND BC !
Smallest TWENTY strings and up to FORTY
Neat ~ Compact & Portable and not so HAUGHTY !
We have booked our BLODWYN for our for our WEDDING DAY
IN CHURCH and at RECEPTION for to SING & PLAY !

Thanks UNCLE STEVE : I (Angela) do play the Folk Harp (same as playing Piano on white notes !) I have mine polished & ready for the Rapture ! BRIAN concentrates on his Folk Guitar !

THANKS FOR THIS CHRIS ~ Pleased you enjoyed it ! Its midnight here (I guess its about 7pm (SAT) with YOU ? ) It is real good to get a CHRISTINA S comment two day running after 3 months and a CS ODE as well ! HARPS are an interesting SUBJECT and the harps in the Bible ~ were like the FOLK HARP tuuned to a DIATONIC SCALE A to A on the white notes as on a PIANO ~ no sharps or flats (black notes) so efectively one could only play in the key of C. One of my Grannies was Welsh and I have visted Harp Recitals in Wales very often. As i said in te POEM we will have BLODWYN ~ Playing the Harp and Singing AR HYD Y NOS at our Wedding !
