I love you when you're ill

I love you when you're sick,

And I love you when you start to tick

Like a time bomb -

When it all feels wrong. 

 

I love you when you're poor,

I love you when you're dour,

And I love you when you're miserable,

When you fall apart - 

You'll have my heart.

 

I'll love you when the sky falls down,

When the heavens crash into the ground,

And I'll love you when the world is ending

And Armageddon is impending;

You're the perfect one,

The shining sun -

My happy ever ending.
