My country tis of thee,
sweet land of liberty,
of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died,
land of the pilgrim's pride,
from every mountain side,
let freedom ring.

- Comment from author about the poem: For those who do not know, this song is actually called, 'My Country Tis Of Thee'. There are many more verses, but I chose to write just the first one. Also, for those who do not know, I wrote this piece in part because it is The United States of America's birthday on July 4th. Persistence is key

YES INDEED DION ~ THE FOURTH OF JULY IS *INDEPENDENCE DAY* Marked by *The Declaration of Independence* from Great Britain JULY 4th 1776 You didn't like British Rule & British Taxes so you rejected KING GEORGE III and replaced him (as Thomas Jefferson said) with KING GEORGE WASHINGTON ~ Now 243 years later you have KING DONALD TRUMP ! You could have had QUEEN ELIZABETH II for the last 66 years ~ I KNOW WHO I WOULD CHOSE TO SERVE ! BUT You chose to be INDEPENDENT so my Prayer is *GOD BLESS AMERICA and ALL WHO SAIL IN HER ~ AMEN*
Blessing & Peace & Joy & Love in the Spirit

Thank you and with my mom being from Belize I have alot of spare Belizean money around the house. Just about every piece of it's currency has the queen's face on it.
So although, as it should be, my loyalty will always be to my country, I will say, "God bless Donald Trump", and, "God save the queen".
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one who are in Christ Jesus.

Persistence is key
Teach us again, what it means to be free, for we have chipped away so much of it.
Every country has their share of problems. Still, it is hard to find a better country than America. I think alot of people in this world complain when things don't go their way. So many people think that they are owed something. I would say this country has alot of freedom.
Persistence is key
Yes, America was and to some extent still is, but is disintegrating rapidly. The warning signs are wailing loud, and recent events have accelerated an irreversible, inevitable outcome,
I am not being morbid, just a reality check.
Thank you
