1. ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUALLY
Note it does not say *Born Equal* ! The inequality of BIRTH
is one of the greatest inequalities on Earth in the 21st C !
2. THEIR CREATOR GIVES EVERYONE UNDENIABLE RIGHTS TO :
LIFE ~ LIBERTY & HAPPINESS ~ THAT CANNOT BE TAKEN AWAY
Human Rights are still a big issue Globally 243 years later !
3. GOVERNMENTS ARE CREATED TO PROTECT THESE RIGHTS
Totalitarian Governments ~ such as Fascism & Communism do just
the OPPOSITE ! Germany under HITLER & Russia under STALIN !
4. GOVERNMENTS HAVE POWER OVER THE GOVERNED ~ ONLY IF
THOSE BEING GOVERNED AGREE TO IT ! POWER TO THE PEOPLE !

5. THE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR ERADICATE A
GOVERNMENT THAT DOES NOT PROTECT THEM. THE PEOPLE ALSO
HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE A NEW DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT !
The French Revolution is a good example !
6. LONG STANDING GOVERNMENTS SHOULD NOT BE CHANGED
FOR MINOR REASONS ! HOWEVER MULTIPLE ABUSES ~ BY THE
RESIDENT GOVERNMENT ~ COULD MERIT REPLACEMENT !

The Central and main part of the Declaration is a denunciation
of over 25 unlawful activities perpetrated by King George III
and the British Government on the People of the 13 States of
The United States of America ! The Declaration was largely
written by Tomas Jefferson The 3rd President of the USA
(1801 ~ 1809). He also served under George Washington and
was the 2nd VP under John Adams !
Jefferson was a protagonist of Democracy and Individual
Human Rights. He was a great Statesman and doubled the
size of the USA with the Louisiana Purchase. He was The
Ambassador to France ! He is regarded by many as the Greatest
of all the 45 American Presidents to date ~ AMEN !

I could agree that Thomas Jefferson is definitely on my list of the 'top five greatest presidents of all time'. I am always a fan of American history or any history for that matter, particularly in the 1700's and 1800's.

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS ZION ~ Yes American History is very fascinating especially for Brits and of course Americans. The life & Times of every President is interesting ! The DEMOCRATS need to get their act together if they are to find someone to oppose TRUMP who looks likely for a second term ! As BILL used to say *Its the economy Stupid* and Trump seems to have that in hand ! In some States (Like Kentucky) thats all they seem to care about. If Hillary couldnt win the Electoral College (she did win the Popular Vote) for the Democrats I dont know who will ? Watch this space !

Before putting politics aside, I must say that so far I am for President Trump. Anybody who stands with Israel along with many other things is alright with me.
Persistence in key
I believe that those courageous people drafted a document so powerful that it was meant for humanity at large and not just one nation or one people. It was not perfect, as they themselves exclaimed, but it gave people the right, a right that we must today enforce, as we gave traversed far from the true meaning of those words.

Thanks SURESH ~ I have a great respect for JEFFERSON and true genius. HIS Humanity and Democracy shines through the first part of the Declaration ! Equality & Human Rights are two big issues in all Countries in the 21st Century ! Democracy and Humanity begins with each Indiviual in Families ~ Our Communities ~ the Work Place ! Jefferson proved ONE MAN can make a difference and make his Voice heard ~ so can we ~ AMEN
