Is being here (My Poetic Side) considered an achievement?
Is it something to be put in a resume or something significant?
Maybe some sort of an advancement?
Perhaps, a sense of fulfillment?
Just a thought;
Why not?

Well, you can put 'poetry' in the 'interests' section of your CV! Not that we have to 'achieve' to a certain standard on here - but reasonable poetry helps, rhyming or not!
That's true, and it's not just the rhyming part.
I mean like...recently, I shared a poem that was made for someone...and she suggested some changes like structural and the removal of her name from the poem.
I didn't say much to reply except that I lovingly and gratefully accept her comments and that I am thankful that she read it.
Still, I would not make any changes to it...because however that poem may be, it's like I poured my heart out. In a way, it's like giving a present to a specific person and suddenly that person suggested changes to the present instead of accepting it or something like that.
In that sense, making changes would only mean that the poem would lose its purpose, its meaning, and why it was made in the first place.
I look for inspiration and I take it and express it. Maybe different words would suit better (logically) but its not always about structure. More of expression and well...the heart.
It is an achievement for those discovering their ability. An achievement to receive positive comment from established poets. An achievement to release ones pains when once they were tightly held within a confused knot of anguish or despair.
Mostly, i find MPS is an achievement for me because i have found company in which i can relax whilst showing my confusion.
One of the main things for me so far here, is being called 'Joker' because that means a lot too. I recently changed my hand signature into something that looks like 'J44' but the letter J is quite obvious.
To me, even if not everyone (probably) read my poems...even if there is one, I am already grateful.
