LOST

kaylss

he might’ve hurt you

he might’ve cheated on you

or maybe he left you

but think about it girl

seriously

who lost

cause it definitely wasn’t you

somebody who didn’t see your worth

somebody who didn’t appreciate you

you gained something

you don’t need to worry about him

or what shady shit he’s up too

even making him upset

when or if he’s gonna leave now

HE LOST YOU

a girl who would and has done so much for him

who was there through thick and thin

he was flawed so imperfect but you thought otherwise

you loved him but he didn’t see all you did

he lost sight he lost an incredible soul

and all you ever gave to him

one day

maybe soon

& maybe not as soon as you hope

he’ll realize what he had lost and regret

everything he ever did to you

he’ll regret leaving you

seeing you thrive will kill him

but by then you’ll be happy

you’ll forget all the pain he ever caused

and you’ll be doing okay

actually great

when you see your worth

you’ll move on and find someone

who appreciates you

and loves you

and makes that fucking time for you

unlike he ever did

someone who will pick flowers from the streets

just to make you smile

write love letters to keep him close to you

never break or strain your trust

somebody who won’t hurt you

somebody who left you

and then

end up posting verbal lies on social media

or shit to cause you even more pain

like what he’s done didn’t hurt enough

it shows the little to none respect

he actually had for you

you don’t deserve that shit

you deserve so much more

so trust me when i say

you’ll find one eventually

be careful with your choice

always know your worth

A fitfully fine emotionally charged rant of a poem if ever there was.... and then some..... Neville
