My beautiful friend,
Reminisce the beautiful memories that are not far behind
So don't be afraid,
For therein lies a beautiful place ahead,
Take my hand on this elevated journey
Above that cold and deepening fold,
As the world silently turns and mirrors you
Far and in between my near reflect,
Enduring that long ago escape on the eve of yesteryear,
Wishing you from afar, on the edge of a star,
...As your smile portals me past the mile I've long endured,
For you are not alone, I'm here for you,
...To think of yesterday when things were simple
In an everyday new adventure
When the dream was alive, and the pain was gone,
Till romance seduced and found you in the deep blue,
In eyes that met you and carried you home,
...I never saw you again, but your face always remained
Now take a walk with me on that roundabout
Where faith grows in the grey,
...For tomorrow your sorrows will fade,
You will see that you can always be
Upon every wish you make to be,
In the midst of blue and sky where songs are made,
...No tears between heaven and the color of your youth,...
So please alight and believe,
And I'll meet you all the way,
As there is always a God that watches over you,
For you are not alone, I'm always here for you...

Hello Neville, and thank you for your wonderful comment. This poem is for my friend who is fighting cancer, whom I continually pray for...She is a wonderful girl who is still young with a husband and children,...I know there is always hope in prayers and interceding in abiding hope...
