Still I contemplate
The silence
Of my chest
Aching I tolerate
The darkness
Repressed
Soft I sway
Day
To
Night
Today
Away!
Dead I liberate
The drumming
In my bones
Sinking I fascinate
This feeling
Alone
Restless I pray
Night
To
Day
Today
Away!
Floating I emancipate
The horrors
Of my seeing
Rotten I evaporate
Endless
Unbeing
Neverhere I lay
Night
Tonight
End
In
Sight
Away!

In differing forms, differing contemplation. A mesmerizing poem
Well I am truly humbled at your mesmerisation.
Thank you 😌
Wow elegant musing in awesome word choice, poetic and soulful, I can see why it mesmerises. Kudos.
Would you pls pleez give your thoughts/ comments on my newest poem too?
Thanks, I’ll take a look
I found myself having to read these words through slower than I initially wanted to... because my tongue kind of ripped over itself.... not sure whether I explained that very well.. it is certainly not a criticism .. I found that when I took more time, they flowed better in my head.... which probably says more about my head than anything else... maybe..... Neville
Well as I read it I wonder if a few more line breaks would have helped?

Still

Repressed
And so on
that feels so much better... and looks nicer too ...
