Love Couldn't Live Alone.

kevin browne

Love couldn't live alone
When you know it's gone
When thinking over you
To wonder why it's wrong.

It couldn't be easier now
If to show the world how
To wrap around yourself
A warming welcome glow.

To wake up and try again
Intentions stay the same
For in your breaking heart
Would learn to love again.

A tenderness can touch
Inside the need to must
That in each of everyone
Can learn to live in trust.

And in some rose flowers
Dewdrops drop for hours
And if the gardens' green
Then paint it different colors.

Kill a King to get a Queen
To work out what it means
And when the date is over
The emotions will be seen.

Tapestries of a love shine
As those mountains climb
Caught up in a spiders web
But to fake the test of time.

Them stars above bright
Those cozy loving nights
To refrain from temptation
And to always win the fight.

A kiss can work its magic
A romance can turn tragic
But, let love, just let love
To turn around and have it.

Sleeping by the windowpane
Love rolled over in its shame
Pouring out your heart at last
Write yourself a poems flame.

The show has disappeared
In love disgraced it's fears
With grace written over you
Love your lover without tears.

Shall rest upon your breast
Shattered in pieces at best
Amends the armored pains
And will rip your heart apart
But learn that from the start.

  • Poetic Dan

Each time that heart ripped it got bigger to let me in. As I read down all your words I could not even light my smoke, now that's what I call medicine when all I could do was read & breath.

A true poet this is to me!
