Insecurities were born

Amassed with all this heated scorn

Made aware of who you are

Dreaded specter had a part

Only I had tried so hard

Never thought I’d get too far

Empty words; I should have known

Wrongful of me to think so

Imagine all I could have lost

Thankful for those Ts to cross

Had to wipe your soul away

You no longer have a say

Out into the world I go

Under the stars and lunar glow
