At Dawn And To Dusk.

kevin browne

Johnny Cash wrote he was in prison
He started spitting at dawn and dusk
So then he escaped from his wisdom
Therein his heart is the idea he must.

To explain this clearly, I want to express
Nothing like spitting at dawn and to dusk
Flowered over love, flowered to impress
To find the right person that's in your trust.

Oh, I wish that I could say to you
From being humble within a love
Life is greener than it was before
But you'll need a push and shove.

Then while away all your hours
And you bring along some luck
Till someone brings the flowers
And to be able to make a buck.

Now, the road has gone past
The old tavern for a drink or 2
Who gave you greener grass
And at last, the sky turns blue.

Colour in the shaded picture
To reflect upon another road
Time is priceless for a future
So wise up to what you're told.

Good old Michael Angelos brush
Each stroke was so remarkable
He took time to time in no rush
To prove nothing is impossible.

The maths and their equations
Fill up the schools, study rules
And Hitler started his invasions
So remember to equip your tools.

And the villages at dawn and dusk
Dewdrops cried upon its whimper
And to remember that's in a trust
To learn 2 and 2 is 8 for a teacher.

Monks think and listen carefully
For your vision is slightly blind
And to learn how to see perfectly
Quite simply when you don't mind.

To tear out all your feelings
And to see if you get it right
For Michael Angelos paintings
As he worked through the night.

That sivth stanza alone is a masterpiece Kevin.... It speaks to me of having lived a life how one can see far more than which sight presents before us. For me it really melds time and vision.
