Nocturnal

smallblackflowers

Shadows are stretching

And people are slowing

When I begin to get going

At night there is so much to do

The dark allows my mind to wander

Because the light can restrict me no longer

3:37 I’m truly alone

With the bats and moths

But we’re just trying hard to be goths

Downhill after midday

Exposed to what we truly are

Swimming in mental scars

Slip off mortality

Fuck the invisible time zones

I’d rather bite off my big toes

Bruises look small in street lights

Together let’s worship the moon

And dream of infinity and silver spoons

Avoid the traffic of day

Of people rushing back to sleep

Eating smiles til they’re complete

Stay up with me please

As we wash up on insanity’s shore

Because it’s much more fun when you don’t conform

I have no hope to buy daydreams

There are people I hate

And I can avoid them when they’re awake...

In my bed completely out of it

A blanket of nothingness to forget the gits
