Away

francis

The one we love has gone away

Away to the place she chose to stay

Now here we are suffering it all

All she had to was call

Say she was troubled

Say she needed a call

We would of been there to catch her when she falls

But she wrote a note

Took the pills

And swallowed them as much as she could

We ran up stairs

Screamed into her face

Asking her why

How could she do this

Why was it happening

We love her

We do love her

Love her as much as we could

But that wasn't enough

Not enough for her

We'll never know what she wanted

We'll never know what she needed

But we know that it wasn't enough

Love not enough

Prayers out of luck

No condition could name this

Only if someone could save it

But save it no one could

The “purest” musician has lost her flute
