I had a dream, this little dream
To find my name, to find myself
So I left off from where I'd been
An old bookstore, upon the shelf.
I'm older and I'm wiser but just, 13
Flew around the world all in one go
Flew on a cloud to see what I've seen
From what I had gathered I'd know.
I had this idea, this little old idea
To go to Sweden and to pull a girl
We danced, romanced, drank beer
Before there was action was a twirl.
And now that 21 is here, I have a key
A key to a heart, a broken one to mine
So, if you're loving enough, dear to me
I'll reply "fantastic, I'll treat you real fine.
So glad a symbolic year that found out
And the mishaps in drunkenness fights
To taste my troubles, to trust my doubts
To sit in silence, to be happy and polite.
And when I had managed the Berlin Wall
Inside this one thing is a mass execution
It was from the onset that I started to fall
But mastered it well, mastered perfection.
Now that 21 has left me, time's precious
Because of 30 arriving, I'm almost dead
I have a dream, a dream of treasures
Before I'm Whisky high and well-read.
I've dreamt enough to know a dreamer
I've learned that it's not good to be meaner
And important of all is where to stand
Fo the message "I love you" in old sand.
I'll tip your hat and mine will do
For the dreames will come true
In the actions of a grand ole man
To do what he says to do what he can.
Can't possibly be 50, a half to a 100
I have a dream and this one's for you
To have looked back, to have wondered
And may all you're dreams come true.
