Things Im longing to forget
A past unwilling to relent
Memories unfading yet
No vacancies to rent
Seeing shadows in the absence of light
Feeling pressures that cannot be right
Paranoia thats ingrained so deep
Finding relief only in sleep
Voices hidden inside of my thoughts
Seeing things that cannot be real
Causing me to forget how to feel.
