Paper Boat

Dovestoneboy

The moon is the crisp ,clean shirt

wrenched from my back.

The lake contains the stars,

an upside down sky.

The pebbles tossed are comets

slicing the surface,tumbling

to earth.

I'm trying to fill the universe

one throw at a time.

A passage for a paper boat

folded from lives unlived

crashing through the body

of the ocean .Searching for

the swaying light of a port.
