It's surprising, but it works...like just give
as in when we're...basically not in a good mood,
but just by giving and sharing something positive,
We, in turn somehow...become positive too.
Besides affirmations, prayers, and probably venting;
Giving and sharing something positive is another way to do it
and somehow I prefer this act of sharing
because real people, real connection, and...it's real.

I mean it ain't easy at times to be positive and even though there are like tons of ways to be positive including self-affirmations, venting, prayers, meditations, self-healing, and herbal stuff (like teas that calm us down)...I shared a picture of a mug with a positive quote on my Instagram and I immediately started to feel positive. The quote is 'Be Awesome Today'. I then realized that sharing something positive is one way to do it...and sharing positive poems also help, but it's not always easy to create one when we ourselves are not positive. So yeah, I use Instagram to mainly share pictures that inspire positivity that I found outside.

Joker, If you read some of the many poems on here which tell of inner demons etc and then the positive responses comments you'll see i'm sure that expressing yourself on mps is like a self therapy. A lotta people here are great positive motivators,
Far better than a cup of tea LOL.
I have grasped the truth of that in certain poems that I've read before...and it shows that many people here have expressed gratitude for the support from the people here.

Yes you are right. I think and hope that seeing others revealing and dealing with their inner demons is an encouragement to find some similarities within ourself. Hopefully thereby begins a route of self healing. Doesn't happen overnight of course.
