FOREVER.

TheNightPoet28

Her eyes glisten in the moonlight,
Her eyes sparkle in the sun,
Windows to her soul during the day and at night,
Just like the deer being blinded by headlights, she does stun.

Forever being my source of peace, reflecting the world better than any mirror
Her eyes are big and brown
Oh how her beauty knows no bounds,
I feel graciously inferior.

As I stare into her, her inner child stares back at me,
An innocence which only I have the privilege to see,
Her safety is my only concern, her happiness my priority,
A promise which I make everyday, sealed with forehead kisses day and nightly.

Her strength a wonder, her independence worthy of respect,
None before could appreciate her fully, forever in my eyes being perfect.

Her brown eyes a world of emotion, which my green eyes could never imitate,
If only she saw through my windows, she would understand her beauty is one only God could create

Forever being too precious, too pure for this insanity we call reality,
Forever I will be her shield, guarding against calamity and holding on, loving tightly.
