My two best companion - Heart and Mind

aman1586

My two best companion - Heart and Mind
They never go along ,when one is jealous other is kind.

My mind tell me one thing, My heart feels  another
They never carry same opinion and i am confuse
its hard to decide which one to follow ,when they are on war with each other.

My heart wants love, my mind needs reason.
My mind tells me to live my life without emotions.
My heart tells me I should stick with my devotion
My heart wants to believe in everything,My mind find reason not to believe in anything.

My hearts love is indescribable; it's unconditional, more than traditional.
My mind love is factual and reasonable.
My mind asks why should I enact on my heart when it always ends up hurt.
My heart says live in the moment,be optimistic and this time you find what you worth.

My mind "thinks" and "ticks" and makes its lists
My heart "skips" and "leaps" into oceans deep.
My mind says, "You need to work and make money."
My heart says, “Do what makes you happy.”

My mind weighs pros and cons
My heart sprints at the sound of a gong.
My mind and heart always fight
if one says day , other says night.

Now my mind wants love and care
But now my heart rejects affection and scared
Now my mind see the beauty of life and truth
But now my heart only sees the end of youth

Finally, my mind sees the good
But now my heart is misunderstood.
My mind is optimistic and calm
Now my heart trying to find only wrong.

My mind is sense, it says what it see.
My heart is feeling, it finds good which mind can't see.

A fine comparison in these well crafted lines knowing heart and mind are both needed as balance so are good companions. Thank you for sharing their differing gifts.
