Oh, father and son, it's the right time
Feelings inside tastes a good wine
When pain showed it showed to heal
But as a passing of our wasted time.
For it was too much, too much for us
Searching answers I could never find
I walked the bad path underneath a bus
The tyre tread that nearly blew my mind.
We laughed at most things but lost a love
There were moments when I never knew
Where you were you when I knew enough
Thought the world was mine, it wasn't true.
Now all those silly things we did
And together we stuck like glue
I almost got away with where I hid
I Always came back, that's what I do.
And now, dear mother, how'd you do
I love you dearly and with all my heart
Oh, father and son, this love is true
It's been tough and now we can restart.
I'll paint you pictures, mother, of flowers
That you grow in a world of yourself
And watch me as I mess up the colours
As I pray every day for her ageing health.
Her Roses are blue, a beauty still shines
Her bluebells are orange with a tint of blue
Her daffodils are pink, they're hard to find
Her Daisies are red, Willow is beautiful too.
So, I'll wish you both well
And I promise you this
That there's nothing to tell
Just want to give you a kiss.

Wow... What an ending my friend. I'm lost at the moment and your pen is a pillow for my thoughts to rest...
You're welcome, Dan...
