final goodbye

mayaicar

I wish I could’ve said goodbye

For my eyes were left blurry

And the time was incomprehensible.

You left. It wasn’t on your own accord.

You had no choice.

It was oh so sudden; you were snatched from me.

The whole family talk about you but I have to stay the strongest,

I will not allow myself to cry.

Your passing was traumatic and there are no words for your value to me,

I wipe my eyes and face the world, I learnt that from you.

I still miss you. But I’ll make it through.
