Refrain

Tayama

The mirror shows me my disgrace,

The lines on my face,

To think it would go my way,

Humbled in my shame,

She told me to go home, then why are you crying?

Because I'm slowly dying,

You had no right to love me,

Willingly,

Yet you did, and for the winter, I was she...

She was...then as the snow became rain,

I saw the refrain, and I did go home,

Both were saved by my fall from grace...

I found that picture of us on my phone,

Short black hair touching my face,

Three am and we were all alone,

I deleted that moment in time,

When you were mine...

The mirror has since cracked,

Blood on my head, I can never take back,

Many never know love, yet I was blessed twice,

Was it worth the price?

To live with love and loss in secret is pain,

Yet we were all saved by our refrain...
