My Heart Is In You.

kevin browne

My heart is in you, don't give it away
Your life is in mine. let's hope to stay
Our broken bridges, pick up a brick
Emotional bravery down at the nick.

The clock is ticking, a time that lost
Playing for drama as it cut the cost
Fingertips touching, fingerprint love
Intertwined sentiments, a nice touch.

Cabera's a twilight zone, oh Cabera
To show the shadowing, unruly play
Was caught behind a bent thought
To unlock the wisdom we all taught.

I asked and told you that I said so
But, if you asked me to I'd say no
And if you think I'm causing pain
Our hearts still remain the same.

Back as a shadow so now pick it up
Clench a fist, my dear if it's too much
Broken dreams we had, upon a time
We lay bear to loving, a love of mine.

Searching for secrets, hidden treasure
Forgetting those moments of pleasure
Now will you take me by my hand, and
Try not to say things like you ever can't.

Teardrops roll down a cheek, too late
If she can decide to stay here and wait
Because this hurting feeling feels good
And then if I had decided to or if I could.

The closest things near to you
Are the smiles you give to show
And my heart knows what to do
If whenever this love was to go.

Now tasty pallet with a hint of wine
Mothers hand, a favourite of mine
Sat in the Sun with all hearts on deck
Gave me a kiss or 12, right on speck.

Another story told in a love
A passion from skies above
And if you listen to carefully
Relaxing in love eventually.
