Can I be her?

wolf10

"Can I be her?"

I knew once I said..

The words lingering in the air,

I had lost you but I still wasn't quite prepared.

So for one and a half months,

I burned like a wick of a candle.

Melting and reforming into wax,

Until there was nothing left to burn,

And by then you were liquid in my mind to yearn.

The aftermath of a scented dream,   Buried in the trash of a cold daydream. -Wolf10
