Juxtaposition

Meg

Happier than I have been in a long-time

Yet

Just when you have found that bit of peace of mind/stability

Someone is always there

In the background to ensure that those feelings won't last long

Those feelings couldn't be more different,

I refuse to let it have that much of an affect on me

as

I have seen the darkness in all its bastarding glory

and

I won't go back there for anything or anyone.

                                                                                                      I can't

No, don't go back. There's a new light in your soul which will not allow the darkness to surround you. It shines from your words today for all to read.
