Depressive thoughts seeping
Into my mind like tendrils from the dark,
Probing, looking for the cracks
Within my smiles.
Scouting for the faintest bit of fatigue,
Patiently waiting for me to take one,
Wrong step into the enormous arms,
Of the darkness I once called home.
Beckoning for me to come forth,
To take a sip of the misery in store,
Tempting me to lean over the edge,
Take a dive into the murky waters,
I know what waits for me below,
The orgasmic suffering amassed,
But still I have a tinge of guilt,
For cheating on my sadness with joy.

Very descriptive write, biscuit. Great job!!
You need not remain always sad or melancholy, biscuit. Some can feel (false) guilt for feeling joyful and happy.
But light awaits too - a spark, or light at the end of the tunnel, etc.
