Soon

SilverXball

so far away

the night is bittersweet

unaccompanied with your homely presence

without warning

my thoughts return to you

we rise and fall

as the tide becomes inevitable

sometimes chaotic

and yet

a calming pulsation

that will always wash away the doubt

we grasp for a constant reality

that knowing we share the same sky

and the same time

and if all allows

the same red string binding us together

we push and pull

as the windows close

and the doors lock

and yet

neither becomes afraid

instead a quiet reassurance

that will ease away the doubt
