you feel your hurt in waves but ignore it

 

it’s your way of coping and i’ll let you act strong

because i know when you break i’ll be there all night long

you’re scared of looking vulnerable but not scared of feeling completely gone

 

you’d rather lose yourself and put up an act then to find comfort in my arms and look weak cause a strong ego is something you will never lack

 

but i’ll continue to be here just in case the weight gets too heavy

because everyone has a breaking point and the mind isn’t always steady

 

you’re a strong man that gives off a tough inspiration to others

you’re a good man when you’re with me and you’re good when you’re with your brothers

 

you have beautiful character with some scratches

but that’s what lit my soul on fire with no matches

 

i see you and understand you on a different level and i can’t help but love all your flaws

you’re my cuddly bear with hidden soft paws

because that’s what a partnership is, always stand with you never behind or in front of you
