Humour and Age

Nafis Light

We all just love a good laugh
and it doesn't change with age;
At times, forgetfulness can be a comedy
so long as it doesn't turn into a tragedy.

There is still fun and love and smile and laughter
and they are beautiful in everyone regardless of age;
Just that it might be different
from one who is a youth and a different generation.

By the end of the day,
Just reflect and laugh;
Have gratitude and a blast;
Then more tomorrow...because today is not the last.

With Love,

    I'm with you J44 and humour is the light of life most of the time, but one day that last day will eventually arrive. Later than sooner though is a choice will mostly choos. A fine writ, my friend...

    A joy to read. Very uplifting and optimistic. Showing a brighter side to aging and just having fun in general. Great read.

    Humour makes the world go around with the proviso that you can laugh at yourself - so many cannot and will take offence which is a shame.
    Here in UK we pride ourselves with a quite sophisticated humour and we notice that many nationalities simply just don't get the joke which is a cause of mirth in itself.

    Good to read your cheerful piece first thing for me today Joker.
