Masks

Meg

Everyone's true colours

Will show eventually

and

Boy oh boy

Has yours shown itself

Call it blind loyalty

If you want

or

Just plain old stupidity

Yet

I never seen

Your true colours

Until

You hurt me, to my very core

By

Then the damage had already been done

When your masks slips

That is when your true colours come to light

  • dusk arising

Brought a smile to my face with the way you have phrased this very entertaining piece.

True enough but there again, to err is human.

    Another victim...
Its a shame that now we have to be at fault for merely believing in what we.
At least we do get to see the truth at some point.
    Great piece!
