Rain dance

Alta H Mabin

Sing your beautiful
lullaby to me
drizzled with your
silver drops

I cry with you
we dance
the dance
of aching souls

    A fine write Alta.
No, please! Not a rain dance; not more just now! (heehee). But we need it as well as sun.

    • Alta H Mabin

Thanks so much, Orchidee. Oh, yes we need the rainbows too.

      Beautiful...

I am not convinced the poem pinned to this page is entirely dedicated to rain though .. I think there is something so much deeper , just below the surface...regardless of whether I am right or a million miles off mark, I still applaud the author...... Neville

You do know the said author leaves a lot to be imagined. Thanks so much, Neville.

Good to see you know that there is sunshine within the rain Alta

Kind regards from under my umbrella Alan,

Oh, thanks so much, Alan. Yes, I certainly do and let's not forget the rainbow too.

          Many thanks

        • Fay Slimm.

That dance of aching souls leaves such a hollow when raindrops add to our sorrows - a sensitive piece Alta.

          • Alta H Mabin

Thanks for your lovely comment, Fay.

Dance away life's heartaches, dance away all pain, dance into tomorrow, dance - be born again.

But if we are dancing in the rain please, please be warm summers rain.

You gifted me with giggles. Thanks for your beautiful comment.

How do we differentiate tears from drops when standing in the rain - one stings.

              • Alta H Mabin

Yes, "stings". Perfect word, thank you.
