Save the Last Dance

Bragee

I hope our shadows can dine and dance one last time in hell.

Silhouettes slow dancing together while engulfed in flames.

Burn the memories,

Smiles,

Tears,

Happy and sad alike,

But know....

I did love you.

Your name will forever be a stain on my heart.

We said it was destiny,

But apparently,

The only thing we were meant to be was enemies.

Standing side by side fighting a war against each other.

Sneak attacks that we both saw coming,

just closed our eyes and kept running,

Thumbing

Through the pages in the bible pretending to have hope.

All the while knowing...this thing...

that we had is just another one of the devils bad jokes.

No support,

No Trust,

Just lust,

and a little bit of pressure,

But

I do love you...

and ill whisper that to you just as the last songs fades into the background...

If we ever have that last dance.
