Infatuation is all it is,
It is short lived and does not last,
Blindsided by naivety,
With a determination that can only come from the heart,
A powerful mind that has been left behind,
To only pick up the pieces of the aftermath,
True strength and love only comes
When the heart and mind work as one!

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem after a bad experience in a relationship. Heartbreak no doubt is real but to overcome it and really know your self worth after events in life is really something no one can take away from you! That’s what I believe 😊
