Purple Trees

Tom Wood

If the world were to fall

Would my heart still stand?

And if, by chance

The world de-hance

Would my will still stand?

With saving grace

Lifes’ long, white

Silky lace

Question what you need

To know

Would my fear still stand?

Purple trees

Rocky mountains

Rolling plains of land

And if, by chance

Your will de-hance

Would my world still stand?

Purple trees

Deep blue seas

Beaches of white sand

If my world were to die

Would you fly?

Would my world still stand?

  • Comment from author about the poem: This one doesn't really have a story, just one I found the other day. I've been so busy with school work, I haven't been able to read or write anything. So, today, I'm sharing this one! I hope you enjoy it :)
