the Eucharist is
the Body and Blood risen:
our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We know there's no need to fight like cat and dog over this - the denominations. Though you know how you and I agree to differ in this.
Of course not O - you know by now (and I see respect) how deeply informed my faith is by this dogma of Christ’s Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Cardinal John Henry Newman had a lot to say on this. You know that he was a good Anglican (and Englishman) too prior to his conversion ... I’m not kidding - his writing’s are some of the best and most convincing world over my brother in Christ.
Thanks Gary. Erm, I won't tell you what a somewhat dogmatic Anglican preacher said of Newman going over to Catholicism. He, the preacher, has a seen the red rag to a bull, over Newman's canonisation due in October!
That’s understandable coming from a “team” perspective. Trust me, after reading Newman, from our fallen human perspective, one is quite ‘proud’ (ah-hem) to say “he plays for us now.” But of course in the entire scheme of things - Newman is a home-run (excuse the American baseball idiom) for the whole of Christianity.
To sort of quote the article I read of him: 'Wicked sinner; evil nonsense, blah, blah.....' Our ears burning now?! Notice my paraphrasing here a bit, so don't quote me on the article! Ooh!
