Point people to the philosophers
Point people to the famed paintings
Point people to the profound poets
Point people to the poignant prose
Point people to the learned prophets
Point people to the parishes
Point people to the well formed prayers
Point people to the priestly priests
Point people to the humble popes
Point people to the catechists
Point people to the apologists
Point people to the broad networks
Point people to the Sacraments
Where Jesus Christ is pointing to you

- Comment from author about the poem: A sonnet pointing the pathway to belief. Here goes: Pointing ——> “Matters of Life & Death: A Catholic Guide To The Moral Questions Of Our Time” by Gerard M. Verschuuren. Buy this work, set aside 1/2 hour, and go straight to the chapter titled “Euthanasia” and the section “What Is a Meaningful Life?” for one of the best essays I’ve read on the questions of suffering and the justice of the Last Judgement.

A fine write Gary. Some things are not much help as 'pointers', while other things are more useful.
Thank you Orchidee - yes, we have many things in common in our respective faith paths but not all things (although I think that we can both agree that a humble pope and a priestly priest are much better for the world as a whole than a corrupt pope and priest of which, sadly, we have seen our share).
