On the verge of eros as the water consumes my body.
Sonance from the air can not touch my ears, but noises in the deep pierce them as I float.
It is both soft and strong, carrying my weight, yet tickling my every movement.
Healing, Calming.
Water sings a song that you can only swim in.
When back on land, it is more a rythm than a song. Crashing, rushing, falling, pattering and flooding.
Like a march.
Carving veins and caves into the earth; leaving scars behind as tales of the journey back to itself.
Water tells a story.
On of struggle and of life.
It is a teacher; a filler of our wisdom wells.
A master over all, for all can not be without it.
Sacred, holy, and magnificent.

- Comment from author about the poem: I went for a swim and it was practically erotic. Such pleasure and inspiration beseeched me as I carressed and toiled in the water. I had to write something about it. Not sure if it's any masterpiece but it portrays the message. I think about water differently after today. Every time I use the sink, or the shower, or go for a swim, I will think about this poem..... Water came before us, and we are sustained by it. There's something so majestic about it and all its forms. Take that in and think about that rather than taking advantage of it. :)

Brian is an Environmental Scientist so is fully aware of the essential importance of WATER (Solid - Liquid - Vapour) and the WATER CYCLE on Planet Earth. Without WATER we woul be lifeless like the MOON ! It is a complex MOLECULE a Universal Solvent which expands when it freezes and each ice crystal is a hexagonal diamond. I am a PHYSIOTHERAPIST and I stress to my Clients the importance of drinking EIGHT PINTS of water based fluids each day ! I love SCUBA DIVING and being a Water Baby !
