I want to be different
I want to wear red and gold at the same time
I want to dye my hair blue
I want to be different
drinking voss water
avoiding dairy and gluten
I want to be different
with the strangest clothes
and the unusual bag
I want to write stories, poems, beautiful lies
and call it truth
wouldn’t that be so wonderfully different?
i want to be different
Just like everybody else

Great poem! Reminds me a bit of the 60's Hippie movement where everybody wanted to be different just to end up the same.
Love the lines 'I want to write stories, poems, beautiful lies and call it truth'. What is truth anyway? Does it depend on the view? For example, a terrorist is somebody else's freedom fighter. I do like poems that make me think. Good job!
