Pinprick Love

Rose.a.lee

Pinprick Love,

Don't you leave me now,

Long after my feet have drifted to sleep,

Underneath the blanket wave of you're comfort.

Pinprick Love,

Don't you doubt your name,

Long after I gave it to you as your own,

For it was you who slipped beneath my skin.

Pinprick Love,

Don't you hesitate a moment,

Long after my body did not pause for you,

As though your closeness was what it had always known.

My Love,

Do believe that I am yours,

and as I sewed myself together,

I believe I did it with a different needle.
