Alan .S. Jeeves

Friends for evermore

I remember when I met you,

A bright and sunny day;

I remember when I met you,

A spot not far away.

I remember when I met you

I recall the time and place,

I remember when I met you...

I proudly kissed your face.

I remember when you met me,

You had so much to tell;

I remember when you met me,

You told your story well.

I remember when you met me,

You listened to me too,

I remember when you met me,

You saw my point of view.

I remember when you knew me,

I told you of my times;

I remember when you knew me,

I told you of my rhymes,

I remember when you knew me,

I looked inside your mind,

I remember when you knew me,

You were so warm and kind.

I remember when I knew you,

And learned of who you are;

I remember when I knew you,

I admired you from afar.

I remember when I knew you,

The cognizance endears,

I remember when I knew you...

We've been friends a thousand years.

    Friends (lovers?) are so very special in our lives.
    That friendship will go on for eternity.

      You are so very right Andy. What would we do without them remaining in our hearts and heads forever.

      Ex animo, Alan
