I’m a worrier

A passing lyric

I’m a worrier

I was born this way

I came into the world worriying

and I’m sure I’ll go that way

i worry every day

about every night

I worry that in darkness

I’ll never see the light

I worry when you laugh

It’s probably at me

I worry all life’s beautiful things

I’ll never get to see

I worry when I talk

That you can not hear my voice

I worry that one day

I won’t have a choice

to never not worry

about anything or anyone

I’m worried that when worrie’s gone

I’ll turn away and run

from every path I’ll ever take

That makes me stronger

I worry that as I get older

those paths become longer.

but that’s the life I lead

as a constant worrier

maybe now instead of fear

I’ll be a warrier.
