Dreamer’s Disease

sylviasearcher

Dreamers die in shades of green
Dead from hope and lands unseen
The world cries ‘stab their eyes awake’
Feed them pills, their minds to take

Revolutionaries revolt in dark reflections
Claiming Truth by poisoned injections
Dreamers close their eyes and ears
Armies drum dread, where dreams are fears

Dreamers dance in pools of blood
Rejoice in death and disease and flood
The innocents cry ‘how dare you dream’
Until the sinners shake and scream

Governments declare war on madness
Where no one has the right to sadness
Angry protestors tear down the house
Of that meak little weak little sad little mouse

Dreamers wake in never forever land
So fuck the world and hold my hand
Call it apathy, call it escape
Dreamer’s shame, my choice to make

      Thanks PD

I often get told I don’t live in the real world. I guess my response is I don’t want to 😔

      • Poetic Dan

We can only see a fraction of what is in "the real world" so none of us do really!
