When Springtime Calls

Kurt Philip Behm

The Autumn Wind

leaves summer in denial

Winter’s invitation sent,

but yet unstamped

Memories through the trees,

 fall distant, left untitled

That fate will name

—when springtime calls again

    Kurt,

I wonder how long it’ll take for that invitation to be stamped? Springtime is my favorite time of the year.
