Nothing and Stars

sylviasearcher

Shutting out light
Opening
Is this death?

Dragging dead weight
Walking
Is this the end?

Deafening to birdsong
Blinded
Is this unbeing?

Wrapped up like a corpse
Peel back the layers
To the void inside
Nothing. Never. Nowhere.

Scribbling unreachable lines
Confusing
Is this alone?

Sickening from hunger
Bloated
Is this nourished soul?

Dying into darkness
Closing
Is this dead?

Suffocated like a life
Slice away the scars
Burn nothing into dust
Stars. Stars. Stars.

Sometimes all I have are questions.
Sometimes if I look hard enough the answers are in the questions posed.

Thanks for your positive energy Dan
