Inside

haydenraquel

I've made some mistakes

and I've felt them all

Let my gaurds all down

just so you could see me fall

Ran from my own reflection

fought the ones who tried to get in

Always running from something

haunted by my sin

Feels like I'm dying slowly inside

drowning in my mind

I can't stand another night

being alone inside

Running from your own reflection will lead you into unknown places where not God has even seen. Raise the roof with you poetic voice and remain standing to win the day. Keep fighting the battle with the tools you are equipped with and I'm sure you'll end up a happy little chick. Good luck.

Being alone is never fun. But while you are, it will teach you to be strong in yourself, to know yourself better. Savor it while you can! It is a blessing in disguise!
