Untimely Rare

StephenJames

Lost in a world that does not care

Forgot a time full of dispair

Left with nothing to compare

Nothing left to declare

Withstanding burdens with no chair

In the wind left feeling bare

Tripped and fell on the last stair

Struggling prey caught in the snare

Blinded by the brightest glare

Moving on the boldest dare

Running free like the last Mare

Nothing in the world to share

Living is untimely rare
