"Red Poppies the Alter of Freedom"

Nagdee2017

"From the Northern shores to the Southern Cliffs of White Dover, my England, the Land of Hope and Glory.
A call of duty, God, King and Country, the Tommys march on to a distant land, the Empire Strikes Back. The tyrant digs in, hell on Earth, trenches and bunkers.
The thunderous sounds of Cannon's an Rifles, putrid flesh and smoking barrels i recall".

No price to heavy, no sacrifice to teary, no blood no tears are shed in vain. Never we despaired in difficult times, for thy Kingdom of Heaven awaits for thee.

The generations of my fore fathers marched on with true colours and Valour, a Century has passed but never forgotten, the ultimate sacrifice of Nations at the alter of God, the alter of Freedom for Generations to come.
For thy King and Country, Oath an Allegiance.

The Blood soak fields of the Western Front, Cannon's roar, Cavalry charges, red Poppies the field of Flanders a sigh of relief, tommies march on, guns of the Tyrant falls silent. A grey silence prevails on fallen Souls. A mist covers far as the eye can see, on Omaha and Gold the Empire Strikes Back.

The trumpet blows, the Union Jack flies high and proud as the hour strikes 11. The sounds of Victory, a silence covers the soil, Red Poppies covers the Souls of my Brothers in Arms.

On Earth we lay this Wreath, in Heaven you lay in Piece. For we Honour thee Services, Air, Sea an Land. We salute your Courage and Sacrifice. For you are the Guardians of my Freedom.

As silence befalls in the place of my being, from here too Eternity for Queen & Country.

In the Year of Our Lord 11/11/2019.
