Placebo

keatondad75

Nights devoid of meaning, days devoid of the simplest direction,
A heart trampled beneath the weight of a well veiled placebo affection,
Arguments gather at wits periphery so mockingly astute,
A fractured Creed stands defiantly and shockingly resolute,
A placebo mask of willing tenderness slips to display the void beneath,
A crimson splash of unkempt anguish offering the most meager of relief,
Lies smash onto an ailing concience to help love become naught but placebo,
Now this soul has been treat as forfeit it gives Venom the room it needs to grow.
