Tossed

John Prophet

Into the
world
tossed.
We are
tossed.
No say,
no say
at all.
Landing,
eyes open.
Anywhere,
anyone,
anytime.
No say.
Tossed
into reality.
How many
times?
How many
places?
How many
challenges
to face,
endure?
How many
lessons
to learn?
How much
suffering
to overcome?
To what ends?
No say,
no say
at all

I like the questions in this . Life can certainly feel like we have no choice especially when we are seemingly forced to deal with pain and suffering . Some people say that we decide what we are going to go through even before being on earth ... I wander if that's true , or not . We always question , why am I having to go through this or that , what's all this for , I've certainly had these questions before . Life can certainly feel very much like a test at times
