Praise, Praise, and more Praise

Tune: Nettleton

('Come thou fount of every blessing')

********

Psalm 146 v.1-2

Praise the LORD, O my soul, Him praise

Unto Him joyful songs raise

While I live I will praise the LORD

He faithful, true to His word

While I have any being I

Shall myself to Him ally

And still praise Him, He my God sure

Even now and evermore

Psalm 145 v.8-10

The LORD gracious, with compassion

Kindly looks upon each one

Slow to anger, of great mercy

And good unto all is He

All your works, O LORD, shall praise you

Your saints shall bless you anew

Here we find your welcome waiting

Songs of praises to you sing

Psalm 147 v.5-6

Great the LORD is, and He of great

Power, recedes not one hour

His understanding infinite

Dwells in endless realms of light

The LORD sees, does lift up the meek

Those humble, they do Him seek

But wicked He casts to the ground

No blessing for them is found

Psalm 150 parts

Praise the LORD in [His] sanctuary

Praise Him earth and sea and sky

For He has created all things

Will accept the praise each brings

Praise Him each instrument in tune

And with voices day, night, noon

All that has breath, all things living

Hallelujah, to Him sing!
